Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect
your information when you use MarketThink.
Last updated: January 2024
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, use our services, or contact us for support. This may include your name, email address, company information, and payment details.
We automatically collect certain information about your use of our services, including log data, device information, and analytics data to improve our platform.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:
You have several rights regarding your personal information:
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Links in posts MarketThink publishes go through a short tracked link. We count each click and attach a random click id (mtc) to the page it opens; the id says nothing about the person. We store a daily, salted, truncated hash to count unique visitors, never an IP address or browser details. If you sign up for MarketThink after such a click, a first-party cookie (mt_ref, 30 days) links the sign-up, and a later subscription, to the post that brought you.
Clients may add our conversion script to their own sites. It keeps the click id for 30 days on that site and reports sign-ups or sales back to MarketThink with that id and, for a sale, its value. Clients who use it must mention it in their own privacy policy.
